Studio Policy
By making a booking with Musze Studio, you hereby agree to the following:
1. Payments and Bookings
1.1 All lessons are to be paid for in advance, by the 5th day of each month. Failure to do so without prior notice would free up the student's slot.
1.2 Students are responsible for arranging their classes via the scheduling platform including replacement classes within the booking month.
1.3 All classes need to be booked 36 hours before the desired time slot.
1.4 Students may interchangeably attend online or in-person lessons to complete their lesson credits within the month.
2. Rescheduling & Cancellation
2.1 Our studio operates a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. You may cancel or reschedule your lesson up until 48 hours before the start of your lesson. After this period, it is no longer possible to change.
2.2 Any lessons canceled within 48 hours of the lesson start date and time will be charged at the full lesson rate without exception (including illness). For students who cancel their classes within 48 hours, an optional self-practice recording may be sent and will be reviewed during your next lesson.
2.3 No-shows for longer than 15 minutes are considered to have consumed a lesson and will be charged at the full rate.
2.4 For lessons canceled before the 48-hour cancellation deadline, the lesson credit will be refunded and may be used for future bookings, as long as it is used before the expiry date.
2.5 All replacements are subject to the studio’s availability, in other words, students have to take the initiative to arrange their classes before the expiry date.
3. Lesson Expiry
3.1 All credits assigned will expire on the last day of each month.
3.2 Credit must be used to book lessons within that month.
3.3 A maximum of one lesson credit may be carried forward to the next month, any credits more than one will be forfeited at the end of the month.
4. Expiry Date Clarification
4.1 All classes must be booked within the stated expiry date.
4.2 Although our system allows bookings beyond the expiry date, any classes booked after the stated expiry date will NOT BE VALID.
4.3 All classes must be booked before the expiry date and can only be scheduled up to that date.
5. Refunds
5.1 There will be no refunds made for all purchases. (No refunds will be issued for all purchases.)
6. Teacher’s right to cancel or reschedule
6.1 The teacher reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons at their discretion. If the teacher needs to cancel a lesson, a make-up lesson may be booked at a mutually convenient time.
7. Content Creation & Publishing
7.1 During classes, videos may be recorded to track the progress of each student. These recordings are solely for educational purposes and monitoring the students' development.
7.2 The studio may seek permission from students to publish their content (audio, photos, or videos) for promotional purposes, such as on the studio's social media or marketing materials. However, the privacy and comfort of the students are of utmost importance.
7.3 If a student or their parents/guardians feel uncomfortable with the content publication, they can inform the studio to have the video content removed. In such cases, the studio will not use any promotional materials containing the student's content.
8. Tardiness
8.1 If you arrive late, your lessons will still end at the scheduled time.
8.2 If students are late for more than 15 minutes and no contact has been made, the lesson will end and be forfeited.
8.3 However, if you arrive on time but the previous lesson runs late, you will be given your full allotted time.
9. Holiday lessons Are Not Automatically Cancelled
9.1 Prior notice will be given to students when the studio is closed due to a holiday or special event. Otherwise, lessons are scheduled as usual.
9.2 If you wish to move or cancel your lessons due to a holiday, please see the rescheduling and cancellation policy above.
10. Enrollment Criteria
10.1 The studio reserve the rights to not accept any client / students booking at our personal discretion and will not bound to provide reasons for exercising that right.
11. Privacy Policy
11.1 Personal data collected by the studio and external platforms such as Acuity Scheduling and Stripe will be kept with strict confidence and will not be shared with third parties.
