Hi! I'm Jocelyn Cheah, your vocal coach

After graduating with my degree in music, I started my home-based studio and teaching.

I came to a realization where I felt that I started to teach students based on my personal experience and the results are not satisfying.

I started to think, does it take that much time to help my students to see results? How about months and years later, what else can I deliver to the students?

I don't want my students to end up like me spending that amount of money and time but yet the improvements are so minimal.

My Struggles of Learning to Sing

A fixed Style only

I loved pop ballads such as "I Have Nothing", but my voice was classified as suitable for rock which didn't allow me to explore

Vague Instructions

Some of my mentors would yell "go for it!" or "push more!" to have me reach my high notes.

Noise Complains

The 1 time I had a good urge to practice, my opposite neighbor walked over to raise a complaint. Making it hard to be in the zone.

Doomscrolling for Singing Tips

I've also tried searching for similar vocal issues on Youtube/XHS like not being able to sing low notes, and ended up finding randomized tips.

In 2022, I founded Musze Studio to address those struggles and deliver what I've always wanted in singing lessons.
